An alumnus of CMC, after having established a successful professional career abroad, initiated the setting up of the Alumni House in the Bagayam Campus of CMC, Vellore as place to offer hospitality to visiting alumni . The design of the AH was mindful of the presence of certain heritage structure in stone masonry at close proximity and deferred to it with low- key facade with scale modulated by use of stone masonry only at ground level.
