CIHSR is a Trust set up in 2005 by the Government of Nagaland, The Government of India and CMC (Vellore) to revive a 100 acre Hospital Campus, construction of which was started by the Central Government some 25 years prior and not completed for various reasons. Integral to this strategy is the setting up of a College of Nursing, Student Housing, Junior Staff Housing as well as a Regional Institute of Para medical Sciences (RIPMS).
CIHSR Institute : The planning of the institute building is essentially determined by the strict programmatic requirements stipulated by the NCI and by decision to use the plan configuration as the first defensive strategy for seismic design to comply with codes applicable to zone 5.
